After dinner in Asakusa, my friend and I were walking around the area.
We didn’t want another drink, but we wanted something sweet.
So we searched for a café open at night—and we found a parfait café in Kuramae.
When we entered, we realized it was more than a café.
It was also a hotel reception and a sauna reception. It felt calm and unique.
The first floor is a parfait café with a calm mood
We arrived around 8:00 p.m. on a rainy weekday.
The café was quiet and relaxing. There were wooden tables and clear glass plates.
A Japanese woman was reading a book alone. It felt peaceful.
Soon after, a few couples came in.
Everyone was enjoying their quiet evening.
What we ordered: Two seasonal parfaits
I ordered the Hōjicha Banana Parfait.
It had a strong aroma of roasted tea in every bite.
The flavor of black sugar, banana, passion fruit sauce, and chocolate worked well together.
It was perfect for people who like Japanese-style sweets.
My friend ordered the Kinkan and Lemon Parfait.
I had one bite. The sour taste of kinkan and lemon matched the soft sweetness of yogurt ice cream, fresh cream, and white chocolate.
It was refreshing but rich and satisfying.
The café accepts cashless payment only.
They offer many drinks, including alcohol.

This café is also a hostel reception
This café is also the reception for the hostel called FOCUS KURAMAE.
The building was a camera parts factory before.
Now, it is a café and a stylish hostel. That’s why the name “FOCUS” remains.
While we were eating, a few people came to check in.
There were solo travelers and a family from abroad.
It felt open and welcoming.

The second floor has a private sauna
There is also a private sauna called SAUNA & CO on the second floor.
It is a reservation-only sauna for 1 to 3 people.
You can check in at the same café counter.
The space is calm and stylish.
It’s a good place to relax and refresh during your Tokyo trip.

Access and final thoughts
This café is about 3 minutes from Kuramae Station (Toei Asakusa Line, Exit A0).
You can also walk from Sensoji Temple in 20 minutes along the Sumida River.
You can stay, relax, and enjoy sweets in one place.
It’s a perfect spot for a quiet and special night.
Next time, I want to try the sauna too.

（和訳）蔵前の隠れ家：パフェとサウナとホステルが1つになった場所
友人と浅草で夕食を済ませたあと、少し時間があったので、夜の浅草をふらっと歩いていた。もう一杯飲むほどではない。とはいえ、ちょっと甘いものが食べたい気分だった。
そんな気分で「夜でもやってるカフェあるかな？」と検索して見つけたのが、蔵前にある夜パフェが食べられるカフェだった。
扉を開けて入ってみたら、そこはカフェであり、ホテルの受付であり、サウナの受付でもある、ちょっと不思議で心地いい複合空間だった。
1階は落ち着いた雰囲気の夜パフェカフェ
訪れたのは、平日の雨上がりの夜20時ごろ。
カフェスペースは静かで落ち着いた雰囲気。木のテーブルにガラスの器、柔らかい照明が印象的で、ひとりで読書をしている女性が静かに過ごしていた。
そのあと数組のカップルが来店し、それぞれの夜を楽しんでいた。
私が選んだのは「芭蕉 – ほうじ茶バナナパフェ」。
どのパーツをすくっても香ばしいほうじ茶の香りが立ちのぼり、黒蜜の深い甘みや、パッションソースの酸味、チョコ、バナナが絶妙なバランスでまとまっていた。
和風の甘味が好きな方にはぜひ試してほしい一品。
友人は「燦々 – 金柑とレモンのパフェ」をオーダー。
一口もらってみると、金柑とレモンの酸味に、生クリームやヨーグルトアイス、ホワイトチョコのやさしい甘さが重なって、
爽やかさと食べごたえを両立した、大人のためのパフェという印象だった。
カフェはキャッシュレス決済のみ。
ドリンクはアルコールも含めて幅広く、パフェとセットで注文できるのも嬉しいポイント。

このカフェはホステルの受付でもある
このカフェは、ホステル「FOCUS KURAMAE」の受付も兼ねている。
もともとはカメラの部品工場だった建物をリノベーションして作られたそうで、
その名残で「FOCUS」という名前がついているのだとか。
私たちがパフェを食べている間にも、外国人の一人旅や家族連れなどが次々とチェックインしていて、
開かれた雰囲気が心地よかった。

1～3名で利用できる予約制のプライベートサウナで、受付はカフェと共通。

アクセスとまとめ：蔵前で過ごす、甘くて静かな夜
このカフェは、都営浅草線・蔵前駅A0出口から徒歩3分ほど。
晴れていれば、浅草寺から隅田川沿いを歩いて20分くらいでアクセスできる。
泊まれる。整えられる。甘いもので癒される。
そんな要素がひとつの建物に詰まった、不思議で心地いい空間。
次はサウナにもチャレンジして、もっとゆっくり過ごしてみたくなった。
夜の蔵前で、ちょっと特別な時間を過ごしたい方に、そっとおすすめしたい場所です。
